Method to grow

Soil : Well drained soils

Establishment : By seeds

Seed rate : 3-4 kg/ha,6-12 months seedlings,spacing of 1 x 0.1 m for a pure crop of fodder and 2 x 0.2 m when raised along boundaries

Fertilizer : 20 kg nitrogen,50 kg phosphorus 30 kg potassium/ha

Green Fodder Yield : 25-30 t/ha in 4-5 cuts

Nutritive value : Crude protein 27-34 % and digestibility 55-70 %
